About DPJIP

The Default Paternity Judgment Innocence Project was formed for the purpose of ending the cruel practice wherein unsuspecting men are trapped by default judgments into paying 18 years of child support for children who are not theirs, and who in many cases they’ve never even met.

The Project's original founders were Washington, DC attorney Ron Henry, author of The Innocent Third Party: Victims of Paternity Fraud (Family Law Quarterly, July 2006), and newspaper columnist Glenn Sacks. The group has also garnered the support of many family law professionals.
